Stairs Gulch Hike

Distance: 1.25 miles round-trip
Hiking Time: 1 hour
When: Summer or Fall. In my opinion, Fall is THE best time to go, the leaves are incredible.

Driving Directions: At the intersection of 6200 South/Wasatch Boulevard drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Continue up Big Cottonwood Canyon Road for 2.8 miles and park on the right side of the road across from the Storm Mountain Picnic Area. If you reach the Quartzite Rock area with large boulders you've gone too far, turn around and park just below that area on the south side of the road.

This trail is fairly easy and short. It's a gradual up-hill trail, nothing too steep. It ends at a series of small waterfalls that pool into a stream.

Be sure to always bring some snacks! Little ones get hungry and need to refuel!
